The new entrant keeps margins low but suddenly has a lot of profits due to large volumes of business. And then they decided they wanted to be the Internet retailer of computing services so they created Amazon Web Services. Of course I could go on and on including businesses like AirBnB, DropBox, Box.net, Yammer and so on.
