We have posted Round 5 of our ongoing project measuring the performance of web application frameworks and platforms. The test is uniquely I/O limited where previous tests have been predominantly CPU limited, and in some circumstances, network limited. Some frameworks reacted to the new request headers in unexpected ways.

Last week, we posted the results of benchmarking several web application development and frameworks. On i7, we see that several frameworks are able to provide a response in under 10 milliseconds. We received pull requests that have improved the performance of several frameworks in this database access test.
