No known patents filed. Maybe the solution hasn’t yet been commercialized, but a patent has been submitted by someone else, putting your idea in jeopardy. Another series of searches on Google Patents and the US Patent Office site and Free Patents Online is in order at this point. Real customer pain and money.

2011 was an incredibly huge year for us, and 2012 will be the same way. Steve Jillings: We have really big stuff coming in 2012. One of the big things about Telesign, and if you go back to the founders, and the things they did well before I got here, is they spent lots of time and effort around writing patents and protecting their IP.

As we know, developers always give their product a code name. We built a Proof of Concept in 2010, went into closed beta in 2011 and opened up to the public in Dec 2012. The idea was pioneered by renowned and award winning high impact serial entrepreneurs, Robert Sussman and Lance Fanaroff. The name just stuck!
