DDN--which has major operations in Chatsworth, but calls Santa Clara its headquarters--said it paid $60M for Tintri.

Chatsworth-based MRV Communications , which designs and manufactures optical networking equipment, said late Monday afternoon that it has closed its sale of Tecnonet S.p.A. Its Italian subsidiary provided network integration services. MRV said the sale will let it focus all of its energy on its network equipment business.

Chatsworth-based optical networking equipment provider MRV Communications said the price of its sale of Tecnonet S.p.A. has increased, and that it has received an additional $4.8M in the sale. The deal now amounts to $26.4M. According to MRV, the payment relates to an intercompany obligation.
