Just the kind of person I like to meet. :) But I was a bit surprised when he emphasized how hard it had been for them to find a web developer in Los Angeles. My flippant comment was, “If you do a Google search for Los Angeles web developer, you’ll find a LOT of people and firms.” And he’s right there’s a big difference.

Founded over a year ago, Stacksocial’s CEO Josh Payne , found the task of sifting through page after page in the hunt for software daunting and decided something had to be done. Not much unlike STEAM, the bundles assist people with discovering new software they’d likely not have found otherwise.

I moved into writing software to analyze audience data, and wrote a lot of computer graphics software. In 1986 I started an advertising and public relations firm to serve software and hardware companies, which became a marketing consulting business ( www.Allen.com ) when I moved to L.A.

These are all great tech people, who have changed the world of computers, internet and software. We also raised fund for CPC advertising, which doubled sign-ups. At LAGbook, we rake in revenue through online advertising. LAGbook is funded basically on revenue realised through our online advertising services.
