Sherman Oaks-based Schaaf Consulting , a firm that manages affiliate programs for online retailers, has acquired PartnerCentric , an internet marketing firm, the two said last week. The firm said it will become Schaaf-PartnerCentric , and will be headquartered in Los Angeles. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.

In what looks like a continuing consolidation for the out-of-home media industry, Los Angeles-based Channel M has been acquired by PlayNetwork. Channel M is a producer of content for in-store TV networks; PlayNetwork is a developer and distributor of entertainment to retails. The firm will continue to maintain offices in Sherman Oaks.

Dan Yomtobian is CEO and founder of Sherman Oaks-based Scour (www.scour.com), a meta-search engine which adds social features such as voting and comments to Internet search. Scour is an offshoot of a PPC advertising firm, ABCSearch, which was also founded by Dan. We've given thousands of dollars away already.
