Hollywood-based Buzznet, an online social media and networking site focused on music, said Wednesday that it has hired two editors to bolster its music editorial team. Leeds will head up expansion of Buzznet's editorial efforts, providing original news, commentary, and photos; Simon will work on day-to-day editorial for the site.

Hollywood-based, music-related blog and content firm Buzznet has reportedly cut employees, according to a report from Digital Music News. According to the publication, citing a representative of the firm, Buzznet has eliminated 10 employees, from a total of 89 staff. This publication has not yet confirmed the cuts with the firm.

The firm rolled out a "zoom" feature that allows users on the site to magnify celebrity photos on the site.
