Irvine-based networking product developer Linksys said this morning that it has released a network router, along with other products for its WRT product family. Those range extenders help extend a customer''s Wi-Fi network throughout their homes, filling in dead spots or weak wireless signals. READ MORE>>.

Irvine-based Linksys , the unit of Belkin which develops home and business networking equipment, said today that it has launched a new, high gain antenna for Wi-Fi networks. The company said its new, dual-band, omni-directional antennas help provide roughly 2 times the performance over stock antennas on most wireless routers.
