And I get flooded with legal docs, end-of-quarter financial administration, recruiting, whatever. Do you find yourself too much in email mode? I regularly shut down my email so that I don’t get pop-up alerts when I’m working. The number of times I’ve had people come to me and say they want to blog more.
If you’ve ever received an email from me, you’d know that I always sign my emails with “to the moon.&# Borrowed from the Honeymooners, I’m shooting for the moon in my business venture. I typically spend my mornings in emails, then a few calls, then I tweet, then I check and respond to Facebook and Linkedin.
Save it to Pocket, bookmark it, email it to yourself or whatever other coping mechanism you have. And actually if you have ADD you may just want to watch the videos I’ve embedded below because it’s easier to concentrate on that than reading a blog post. Email twice. Don’t worry. It’s finish and publish.
It’s apropos because there is so much noise these days with email, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, web shows, etc. I was thinking back to a few previous “insider baseball&# blog debates that raged for several weeks: AngelGate (aka Bin38 secret cabal), convertible debt vs. equity, bubble vs. not, and now the AngelList discussion.
