Los Angeles-based Buzz Media , which operates a network of online media sites focused on celebrities and music, disclosed this morning that it has tapped former TMZ general manager Alan Citron as its new President. According to Buzz Media, Citron will oversee programming, marketing, engineering, and product development at the firm.

Santa Monica-based rich media advertising technology developer Jetpack is expanding in New York, saying this week that it has opened up a new office New York City, and hired a new VP in the location. Jetpack said it has named Jeremy Carlin as Vice President, Business Development, to head up the company's East Coast operations.
