Mobile music game Zya , which was developed by Calabasas-based Music Mastermind, has now been downloaded more than 350,000 times, according to the app developer, up dramatically from the 250,000 downloads the company had reported right before SxSW. Zya''s app revolves aroudn letting mobile users create their own songs.

Calabasas-based network testing equipment developer Ixia said today that it is targeting the LTE testing market, with its Ixia IxLoad product. According to Ixia, it is looking to help mobile carriers maintain and safeguard their network infrastructure, by allowing those providers to prototype those real-world networks in the lab.
