You’re sales person is getting blocked by the CTO who says she shouldn’t go above him but the CTO isn’t approving the deal. Yes, I know it’s my job as the CEO to be the coach for people and that’s fine. The CEO had 60-page Powerpoint presentations analyzing every micro detail of the business.

If you were a student in college, working on a startup idea, what would spur you to drop your education plans, and go full time on your startup? That was a really short timeframe, but we were able to pull it off, and my sister and I actually went to present for him. Both have been great mentors ever since.

By spending more time educating your board on your business you get more valuable advice from them. If nothing else you will create board cohesion and board education by engaging your board. When we recommended that Rob get a CEO coach he not only embraced it but craved it and thanked us for suggesting it. Assigns tasks.

What we found is that there was no present solution to do this. We will need to keep on figuring out how to educate our consumer. We also have Chris Cookson as a technical advisor. He’s a former President of Sony Pictures Technologies and former CTO of Warner Bros. How can they go to the movies? Entertainment.
