In case you were out of town for the weekend, BetterWorks and Coloft of Santa Monica put together an amazing and area stimulating HackFest ( #hackfest ) on August 14th. Just shows to the growth in the Santa Monica area with people like the CoLoft helping to fuel the ecosystem.&#.

It’s OK because in an era where you can much more rapidly prototype and build products it is far more beneficial to launch your first version, get initial customer traction and then talk to your customer base to understand how well it meets their needs. So there you have it. In the next post I’ll go more in depth into “pain.”.

This particular evening, we attended the LeanLA meet-up located at Coloft, a swank professional co-op/work space in the heart of Santa Monica, known as the epicenter of the LA startup scene. He went on to explain a bit about the customer development model from Blanks: State business model assumptions.
