Hulu Adds More Live TV Content

Los Angeles-based streaming television provider Hulu said this week that it has added two new "add-ons" for its Live TV subscribers, including both a new set of Spanish channels, as well as new Entertainment content. Hulu also said it will be launching Discovery Networks on Hulu with Live TV later this year.

Hulu Sells Off Japanese Business

Los Angeles-based streaming television service Hulu announced late Thursday that it is selling its Japanese business to Nippon Television Network Corporation (Nippon TV). Nippon TV said it would use the acuqisition to enter into the subscription, video-on-demand business. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
