Los Angeles-based Zumbox , the startup providing digital, postal mail services, which is now headed by John Payne, has raised $10.6M in a Series C funding round, the firm said late this morning. The firm said the funding came from existing investors, along with CEO John M. Payne and strategic partner Compushare. READ MORE>>.
Westlake Village-based Zumbox , a developer of a system for sending electronic mail to postal addresses, announced today that it has raised $8M in a funding. Zumboxdevelops a service--aimed at marketers and businesses--to target individuals with electronic mailings, based on their street address, rather than their email inbox.
Westlake Village-based Zumbox , which is developing an electronic bill payment service, has raised an additional $9.7M in funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. in funding in August of 2009. Zumbox competes with such billing aggregation providers as Doxo.
The group, which promotes the venture capital industry in the Los Angeles area, also honored local companies for their funding and exit activity. ShoeDazzle.com , the online e-commerce startup headed by Brian Lee and whose co-founders include Kim Kardashian, scored top honors in the Best venture funding in digital media/e-commerce category.
