Develop HTML Mobile Technology

I view the point of this blog to provide my thoughts and perspectives as an Acting CTO mostly concerned with Startup Development to entrepreneurs and other CTOs. We need to deliver on mobile devices in the future. Do we include Flex or Flash as a delivery technology? Instead I'm betting on HTML/JavaScript. That's my bet.

The conversation centered around a founder who's key question is "Where Do I Find a Developer for My Startup?" His goal was to find a programmer who would come in as an early partner and work as an Equity-Only Developer. Have you tested what you can without development? Is this compelling to a developer?

Where do you fit into the mobile ad market? All of digital advertising today uses Flash as a foundation technology. What that means, is the banner is no longer Flash, but it slcearly HTML-based, and video based. Since the iPhone in 2007, we are seeing that mobile is taking over, and what we were doing was not as relevant.

And while the App Internet is currently more powerful than the Mobile Internet it has fundamental flaws. In other words, our mobile devices are all powerful and the network that they connect into sucks. We had to develop whole frameworks of “middleware” to deal with this problem. He’s right about this.

The course embeds classrooms in technology companies and universities, and the girls learn everything from robotics to mobile development to computer languages such as HTML and CSS. In addition to learning these skills, they also gain exposure to the tech industry and receive mentorship from women working in technology.
