Attach a Cover Letter: Far too many people simply email you their resumes and there is nothing in the body of the email, just a Word doc attachment. Its as if the applicants are just sending their resumes to as many people as possible, and they dont have time to write a quick intro on themselves and why they want this job.

You are going to “study” the details before making a decision. He told me to stop responded to RFPs where I wasn’t the person who helped write the specs for the RFPs. Sending the docs via email is less friction than making people come to a data room. and then asking to take a brochure home with you. Yeah, sure.

I have checked Twitter at least 10 times during the writing of this post so far and Facebook 3 times. I can’t write a blog post and then wait 3 days to publish. It’s why I don’t write for TechCrunch or similar much any more. I study for tests last minute. I write my presentations the night before.
