Westlake Village-based Zumbox , the digital postal delivery service headed by John Payne, announced this morning that it has scored a licensing deal with New Zealand Post. Zumbox said that the postal service has licensed its platform to develop market offerings to provide mailers and consumers a way to digitally deliver and store postal mail.
Rob Reed: I was at Zumbox, where I was VP of Marketing and Government Relations. Zumbox was essentially the USPS online, where we had networked street addresses so that email cloud flow online the same way as it did offline. Once we did, Naval did another email blast, and that added a whole level of credibility to the round.
