Moviepilot , which operates an online movie discovery site, said last week that it has opened up an office on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California, as part of its expansion into Los Angeles. Elkins joins the firm from MEC, where she had run interactive media campaigns for Paramount and Dreamworks.

We moved from our loft in Venice to a new tech campus in Santa Monica. My interests are eclectic and range from SpaceX and innovations in aerospace, transportation, robotics, autonomous vehicles, to esports, the future of work, and the future of entertainment. The cool thing is we were not only taught about film and TV, but also about new media. One of our teachers was teaching new media and it was really inspiring. People are starting to notice us.
