I recently read a book I’d highly recommend to every reader of this blog called “ Yes, 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to be Persuasive &# by Robert B. John gave me the book after I spoke at his entrepreneurship class at UCSB. Any SoCal entrepreneur raising early-stage money should put Rincon on their short list.

Obviously they wish they would have figured this out a bit more quickly, but as a young team I personally cut them a little bit more slack than I would if it were Oracle, for example. Journalists write stories that have an appeal to readers whether the accusations have merit or not. Good PR will help you punch above your weigh class.
