Realtime , a startup developing technology to help power real-time web applications, said today that it has raised $100M, launched in the U.S., The firm, which was previously known as Internet Business Technologies, said that it has developed a language, xRTML, that helps convert existing, static HTML into real-time, live web applications.

I think we were able to effectively transition, because our technology platform. It was just a matter of process to add iOS, and later, Android to the output, and start designing games for the larger screens, later bringing those games down to run on BREW and Java after that. That definitely aided in the transition.

The basic conclusion was that it was a bit premature if you were talking about a serious, funded start-up. PIM based on Java that would be up-to-date on all your devices. Server and client in Java.
