Those are hard, since someone has to invent something innovative, but I do have some views on other ideas whose time has come and gone. I still get about one business “idea” per week for a new networking site, which will combine the “best of all the sites” into a new one. For some ideas, the wave has simply passed.

You would think the obvious thing I would tell somebody is, “yes, of course it’s a great idea.&# You’d be surprised. In this particular case I wasn’t convinced it was a good idea from the limited information I had. A high level of confidence in your own ideas and ability to execute. Very decisive.
