Pasadena-based Idealab has sold another one of its companies to Yahoo today: GoPollGo , a Twitter polling service which let Twitter users collect feedback from their friends and followers. Pasadena-based Idealab , the startup business incubator founded by Bill Gross, announced this morning that it has added Andy Steuer to its team. The firm said Steuer will work on new company creation, particularly in the new mobile applications area.

Play In Motion – Play In Motion is developing a social mobile location-based platform for casual gaming. In many cases, the next logical step for one of these young companies will be to join another, later-stage accelerator.
