As we and our collaborators prepare Round 9 of our Framework Benchmarks project, we had an epiphany: With high-performance software, a single modern server processes over 1 million HTTP requests per second. Undertow is the lightweight Java web application server used in WildFly. It just happens to be quite quick at HTTP.

In some cases, the throughput is so high that we have a new challenge from our old friend, “network saturation.” To remove the network bottleneck for future rounds, we are concocting a plan to cross the streams, in a manner of speaking: use lasers and the fiberoptic QSFP28 ports on our Cisco switch to bump the network capacity up a notch.

I had been a developer, working at a software publisher as a software developer working on consule games, and wanted to get back into publishing. It's actually been beneficial for us, and enabled us to get lots of features we were working on for BREW and Java, and get those more easily in iOS and Android.

His picture of all of the different elements you have to deal with infrastructure (network, storage, os, db, etc.), Server and client in Java.

Security experts and other individuals might be helpful in creating and fixing network performance monitoring software. Then there is a Network Engineer that will make sure that communication lines stay open between everybody.
