I came across this blog post about getting a computer science degree as the best degree for getting into venture capital or working at a VC-backed start up. While I have some sympathy with not investing too heavily in sales people until the product has properly been tested and commercialized in the enterprise environment, in the end it’s a fact that it takes sales people to move product through large organizations. These are the lifeblood of your sales organization.
