Last week, Pasadena-based Ocular Data Systems (www.oculardatasystems.com) announced a funding round from the Pasadena Angels, for its camera-based systems used by law enforcement to capture evidence in drunk or drugged driving cases. That's a bridge to our Series A, which we'll be using for scaling up sales and marketing.

Our interview today is with Alan Horsager , the CEO of Pasadena-based Episona (www.episona.com), an angel backed startup which has already developed and has been offering up an epigenetic test for male fertility. We've translated that into a screening test, which started offering out in October of last year.
