Westlake Village-based Zumbox , which is developing a system which allows organizations to send mail electronically, based on postal addresses, announced this morning that it has partnered withh a marketing services firm, and appointed that firm's Chairman and CEO as its own CEO. Zumbox said it will roll out its system in September.
Rob Reed: I was at Zumbox, where I was VP of Marketing and Government Relations. Zumbox was essentially the USPS online, where we had networked street addresses so that email cloud flow online the same way as it did offline. That, combined with being early on the social web, was the nexus from where MomentFeed came about.
