Ventura-based The Trade Desk , the new online ad exchange firm headed by former AdECN founder Jeff Green , is announcing today that it has partnered with Acquisio , a PPC management software provider. Acquisio said it manages more than $450M in ad spending for such firms as Yellow Pages Group, SEO Inc. and other firms.

Santa Monica-based Tsavo Media, the startup headed by former Userplane CEO Michael Jones, said today that it has acquired Better Inc, the SEO and pay-per-click marketing software firm headed by Ben Padnos. According to Tsavo, Better provides SEO and PPC management to such clients at Paramount, Dreamworks, and Closet World.
