I recall being impressed with Jeff, but I was concerned that he was creating a platform, which often requires a significant amount of capital, takes an extended amount of time to establish and can be subject to margin pressure as the enabling technologies become commoditized. David founded Geocities back in 1994, took it public in 1998, and in 1999 Yahoo bought the firm as a public company. Peter Lee: Essentially, we are Southern California focused, through we will be looking at out of SoCal investments--we're not closing our doors to those, but our interest is really in focusing down here.
