It’s also a very exciting time here in LA Tech with over 6 accelerators and incubators springing up over the past year. Following a quick ice-breaker game of “Half-baked” where anyone in the room throws out a word to then generate an entertaining pitch, the real pitches began. By 6:30 the house was packed and SWLA was underway.

Tucker Kain: In 2012, when the current ownership group bought the Dodgers, the group they pulled together was pretty heavily investment focused. What we realized, is that using a platform like the Dodgers to validate those products, and at the same time, solve some of our own problems, made a lot of sense.
