Pasadena-based OpenX Technologies announced this morning that it has named Raj Chauhan as its General Manager of its Publisher Business. Chauhan comes from the Rubicon Project, and was co-founder of ad networks Banner Brokers and ClickAgents. OpenX is a provider of Internet advertising serving software and related services.

Last week, Pasadena-based Punchcard (www.punchcard.com) launched its mobile apps, which help local retailers provide rewards to loyal customers. While I was there, I was product manager leading efforts to include third party content into the platform. The firm is backed by Idealab, and is headed by Internet veteran Andy Steuer.
