Bankrupt videogame maker THQ said Monday afternoon that it has received $6.55M in the sale of six additional lots of its intellectual property, from three buyers. from Nordic Games Licing AB for its titles Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs ATV, other owned software (includes Destroy all Humans!, THQ was based in Agoura Hills.

Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ is diverging from the usual, first-person-shooter and action games genre with its latest title, saying Monday that it will be publishing a new title from author Deepak Chopra. According to THQ, the new title will be published later this fall.

Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ --or at least, what's left of THQ--released the details of how it plans to sell its remaining intellectual property late Tuesday, saying it expects to complete the bidding and sale of the properties by mid-May. THQ sold the rest of its studios and games in a deal last month, worth $72M.

Agoura Hills-based THQ said Wednesday that it has inked a distribution deal with Codemasters , to distribute four games for that firm. THQ said it will distribute DiRT 3, operation Flashpoint Red River, BODYCOUNT, and F1 2011 for Codemasters in North America. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
