Burbank-based 3ality Digital , a developer of 3D production technology and services, has scored a new funding from Clearlake Capital Group. 3ality develops 3D camera rigs and other associated products used by the film and TV industry for 3D filming. 3ality said it now owns a majority of the voting shares of the company.

Los Angeles-based mobile games developer JamCity is continuing its growth, saying on Wednesday that it has raise $350M in new funding, and acquired mobile game studio Ludia. Jam City said the new funding will help it continue its global expansion, and also help further its strategy to build out its portfolio of studios.

Burbank-based Network Optix , a startup developing video transport, management, and display technology, said this morning that it has raised $750,000 in a seed funding. The firm said the convertible debt round came from Jor Law, Veracity, HauteSpot Networks, Kenneth Lu, and other angel investors.

Burbank-based Disney is backing an effort, in conjunction with learning robot developer littleBits and UC Davis , the give girls a boost in getting into science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. According to the group, the effort is being funded by the Walt Disney Company, which is putting $4M into the effort.
