I recall being impressed with Jeff, but I was concerned that he was creating a platform, which often requires a significant amount of capital, takes an extended amount of time to establish and can be subject to margin pressure as the enabling technologies become commoditized. If they are supposed to arrive in a two hour time window, we allow you to track that tech as they go from house to house. I think that's a very unique differentiator.

I believe that it is part of the DNA of an entrepreneur – being so competitive that you’re practically sick when you lose. They’re competitive. They had a prominent NorCal investor already so I thought a SoCal lead would make sense – that I could help them in a more hands-on way.
