Many startups now go through accelerators and have mentors passing through each day with advice – usually it’s conflicting. On market segmentation I often recite my “ Elephants, Deer & Rabbits ” framework. On marketing I talk about “ Arming & Aiming ” 4. How to network better ?

There are ad networks, ad exchanges, direct buys with publishers, and tons of other ways to buy ads. However, it''s not clear what the best way to do that is, how the market is actually operating, how publishers are seelling inventory, and how top advertisers are buying. I moved to Microsoft and was there for six and a half years.

Ultimately, we're build tools for marketers on top of that. We have some great mentors now. Thanks to TechStars, we've got an awesome mentor who's co-habitating with us now, and we're learning something daily from him. It's actually uncommon to have a female CTO. However Gmail is only private email conversations.
