San Diego-based Sense4Baby , a brand new starting spawned out of the West Health Institute, has licensed a wireless fetal monitoring system from West Health, and moved into that firm's new incubator. West Health Instute said that Sense4Baby will become the first company in its new West Health Incubator.

In just the last few weeks, at least five different incubation/acceleration efforts have booted up in the region. Similarly, the firm is using a Y-Combinator/TechStars model to startups, and covers Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. What's the latest craze in startups in Southern Califonia?

However, if you think about IT security, all the systems everyone is familiar with, ERP systems, web, and email, and other basic network systems, all those systems that are designed to run companies, my history and background is in securing those platforms.
