Netty , Vert.x , and Java servlets are fast, but we were surprised how much faster they are than Ruby , Django , and friends. San Diego-based Qualcomm and Sun Microsystems announced today that the two are in an effort to port the popular Java programming language to Qualcomm's Snapdragon ARM processor. According to the two firms, Sun has ported its Java Platform Standard Edition 6( Java SE 6) to machines running on Qualcomm's processor.

I think we were able to effectively transition, because our technology platform. At the time, our platform allowed us to build our games, and have one game which we could send to multiple devices. We're able to get thousands of downloads per day on our products, a far cry from the BREW and Java days.
