Santa Monica-based Retention Science , the marketing software technology maker led by Jerry Jao, has snagged $7M in a Series A funding, according to the company. Angels Brian Lee (Honest Company, LegalZoom), Michael Dubin (DollarShaveClub), Tamim Mourad (PriceGrabber.com) and Andy Dunn (Bonobos) also participated in the funding.
The firm's founders have previously made investments in such companies as Chegg, DollarShaveClub, Ring, ServiceMax, and SolarCity, according to the venture firm.
