Genomatica Raises $21.25M

Genomatica says on its web site that it has now raised more than $40M in financing from TPG, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and Alloy Ventures. No details on the new funding have been disclosed by the firm. Genomatica develops technology to replace fossil fuel based chemicals with renewable products.
