ResMed Names New CTO

San Diego-based ResMed said Monday morning that it has named Bobby Ghoshal as the company's first Chief Technology Officer. The company, which develops patient monitoring devices which can connect to the cloud, said that Ghoshal was ost recently Chief Operating Officer at Brightree, a Resmed-owned company which provides cloud-based software-as-a-service for out-of-hospital care.

SpaceX Sends Fourteenth Falcon 9 Mission Towards The ISS

Hawthorne-based SpaceX has successfully launched its fourteenth mission to the International Space Station (ISS) from Cape Canaveral, sending a previously flown Falcon 9 and Dragon capsule to the ISS at 4:30 p.m. EDT. The SpaceX Falcon is carrying 5,800 pounds of supplies, payloads, and vehicle hardware to the ISS, where it is expected to dock on Wednesday, April 4th.

Irvine-based SetSchedule , a developer of real estate technology, said it has launched a new mobile app which it says uses artificial intelligence to help real estate agents qualify and manage leads. According to SetSchedule, its software uses information from title companies, permit information, taxes, and major life events to identify homeonwers who are highly likely to sell their houses within months, and sets up listing appointments with those homeowners.

Financial details of those agreements were not announced, however, Ligand said i will be eligible to receive access payments, development and regulatory milestone payments, and tiered royalties for each product incorporating an OmniAb antibody.
