Uber is planning to require drivers and riders to wear face masks as it prepares to ramp its ride-hailing business back up after being hobbled by the COVID-19 pandemic. CNN was first to report that executives approved a new policy that would require drivers and riders to wear face masks or coverings in some markets, including the U.S. TechCrunch confirmed Monday that Uber has developed a policy for certain markets.

San Diego-based EDF Renewables North America and Iowa energy company Alliant Energy said they have commenced commercial operation of a 200 MW wind project. According to the two, the 200 megawatt Golden Plains Wind Project started operations on March 27th, and is now serving Iowa customers. The project is based in Winnebago and Kossuth counties in the north central portion of Iowa.

According to HyperX,j it will provide its HyperX FURY DDR4 RGB or FURY DDR4 memory products into HP's new OMEN Desktops and upgrades. The memory will be part of HP's OMEN 25L and OMEN 30L desktops.

Los Angeles-based private equity investor Platinum Fortune LP says it has acquired one o the UK's largest video game developers and publishers, Jagex , in a deal worth $530M. Jagex is best known for its franchise, RuneScape. According to Platinum Fortune, it acquired Jagex from Shanghai Hongtou Network Technology , which is a subsidiary of Shanghai Fukong Interactive Entertainment Co, Ltd.

Elon Musk , the founder of Hawthorne-based SpaceX , is apparently selling all of his real estate--including two Los Angeles homes , saying that he is selling all his physical possessions. Musk is selling one of his homes in LA for $30M, and the other for $9.5M. It's unclear what that means for Musk's presence in the Los Angeles area, where he spends most of his time, despite his involvement with Tesla Motors.

La Jolla-based biotechnology startup Alume Biosciences announced that it has raised $5.5M in a Series A funding round, to go towards its products. According to Alume, the funding came from angel investors, including co-founder Chrysa Mineo (formerly of Receptos and Neurocrine Biosciences) and Dan Bradbury (co-founder and Executive Chairman of Equillium, Inc. and former CEO of Amylin).
