Santa Monica-based automotive information site Edmunds has named a new Editor-in-Chief for its content, the company said on Tuesday. According to Edmunds, Alistair Weaver has been named Vice President of Editorial and Editor-in-Chief, to lead a team of over 30 content producers for Edmunds site and social platforms.
We're a content curation platform, software-as-a-service for content, and we are focused on helping companies engage their customer more directly using content. One, is we had built up Edmunds in a successful way and had lots of growth there, but I really was interested in starting my own company. That's what Rafat and Skift is doing.
We also work closely with manufacturers like Kia and Suburu, and work with research sites like Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds, who both utilize our imagery as well. We are across many platforms, and have a whole array of enterprise customers. It's a free app, and works in all of the stores, and is platform agnostic.
