No matter how much it bothers you, people do like to entertain themselves with a “lean back” experience. And we like to be entertained. You can’t replace this stuff with Java. And you still have no idea if you will accidentally become Pinterest or if your $41 million will produce a Waterworld.

If someone is investing in me and my idea, I simply don’t want to let them down. It is always great to quickly raise money with your idea, but far more often than not, it’s a long haul (of) relationship building with investors. We have a lot of entertaining content… but that tends to be the stuff that takes off at the earlier stages.
