Google had no clue that they were going to make so much money in sponsored search. Seemic (now a Twitter client) was originally a video blogging platform. Geni.com beget Yammer. We’ve proven that through innovation and experimentation we can do significantly more revenue than we’re getting through Google AdSense.

Gilt Group is currently the largest private sale web site in US. Booyah – Develops a location based service platform that pairs the virtual world with mobile gaming. We also talked a lot about Stickybits (who uses the SimpleGeo platform) and Occipital who has the red-hot RedLaser scanning product. Time will tell.
