Market Opportunity. But what about markets? We always say that great opportunities are composed of a world-class team addressing a big & disruptive market opportunity. One of the common refrains that I heard was that investors were looking for “large markets with lots of white space.&# This annoyed me to no end.

We''re now in beta, and are incorporating services like iTunes, Amazon, and Hulu, and will be incorporating more (this) year. When we first alpha tested this, we just had watchable entertainment, movies and TV, many of them popping up in second screen apps. Is it a challenge to cover so much? Phoebe Scott: It is.

I believe that Twiistup is now a platform from which to grow and highlight what is uniquely LA. In SoCal we are also leaders in affiliate marketing (Commission Junction), Internet video (Hulu) and bringing local businesses online (ReachLocal). Much of this was highlighted at Twiistup.
