The beauty of platform is fans are signing into Facebook when fans engage with films on our site, and those film makers are collecting valuable data and page profiles on their audience. We're not necessarily the platform to help up-and-comers or amateurs to be successful. The remaining 20 percent are independent film-makers.

I believe that Twiistup is now a platform from which to grow and highlight what is uniquely LA. In SoCal we are also leaders in affiliate marketing (Commission Junction), Internet video (Hulu) and bringing local businesses online (ReachLocal). No doubt the platform that Francisco built will take Twiistup 7 to a whole different level.

We''re now in beta, and are incorporating services like iTunes, Amazon, and Hulu, and will be incorporating more (this) year. When we first alpha tested this, we just had watchable entertainment, movies and TV, many of them popping up in second screen apps. Is it a challenge to cover so much? Phoebe Scott: It is.
