DivX Files Another Lawsuit Against Hulu

San Diego-based video software developer DivX has just filed another lawsuit against Los Angeles-based Hulu, alleging patent infringement for its video-streaming and playback technologies. DivX has at least one existing lawsuit it had filed against Hulu. The lawsuit was filed by Robins Kaplan and Brown Rudnick.

DivX , the streaming video software developer which was started in San Diego, has filed patent infringement lawsuits against both Netflix and Hulu , accusing the firms of usings its video streaming intellectual property. DivX filed two different lawsuits on Tuesday in the California Central District Court.
