In the bay area there are dozens of firms that are actively making investments. Opportunity #3 – There is Plenty of Capital for Great Team/Products.
This is particularly true if you have never raised investmentcapital before and do not have a record of exists like Calacanis. Because of his persona and reputation a bigger perceived risk for an investor is not having a chance to invest in the business at all.
