My simple answer is that they keep their focus on customers, rather than technology. They present a convincing story that every entrepreneur has the same potential, but most get sidetracked and bogged down by their technology, competitors, and internal organization. Your future satisfaction and success likely depends on your answer.

some came from our customer service, some were to improve performance / scalability from tech ops, some were bug fixes, etc.) But it seemed strange to me that we would openly talk about stuff rather than waiting for a big announcement to the press. But he didn’t grow up with technology. But they went one step further.

Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Takers can never get satisfaction, and they antagonize those around them. Smart business executives learn to use new technology software to give them new insights and more free time. Be an optimist, and give everyone a smile.

I believe the days of the “job work” mentality are thankfully waning, with more people looking to get satisfaction by making the world a better place, rather than just tolerating brain-numbing work to fund enjoyment elsewhere. Most now routinely buy startups for new technology and new products. It’s not too late to start.
