I pointed to several Economist articles I had read that mapped historical prices of real estate for 400 years and how on average property values grow at no more 1.5% above inflation yet in many markets in the US & Europe prices were rising at 10-25% per year. And it’s driving up prices beyond their inherent value.

I don’t do advertising on my blog, but I thought it was worth mentioning Ryan in particular because he has an alternate model for doing a startup. Founded in 2009 in Los Angeles by Michelle Crames. Pricing engine helps publishers ascertain ad inventory pricing by analyzing ad transaction data from the market/exchanges.

In the first post in this three part series I described why I believe the VC market froze between September 2008 – April 2009. Unemployment continues to rise – Unemployment as of September 2009 is 9.7% If these factors impact earnings the stock market may be headed South – If unemployment rises housing prices won’t.
